Nadera
Praise God!
Looking back through the years, the Nadera Kạurotu (cell-group) was initially established (around mid-1970s) by the elders who lived in Nadera, with the goal of fellowshipping together as believers within the Methodist Church under the Rotuman division. The formation of the Kạurotu was to also assist in the hanua related activities. The group was then later divided into three smaller groups, namely Visako Circle, Nawanawa and Reba as part of the Rewa Street Choir (Kȧ’ Pelu Kạumakaga).
This was a means of fundraising towards building Churchward Chapel. Previous Catechists of the Nadera Kạurotu were Kaitu’u Solvalu (deceased), Jone Marseu (deceased), Fesaitu Aropio (deceased), Rigamoto Antonio and Maria Antonio. The group combined in the 1990s.
NADERA CELL-GROUP TODAY !
Praise God for Nadera Kạurotu today. God is so good and so faithful and His goodness and favour is
witnessed today by our members in Nadera. The glory is God’s and God’s alone.
Praise God for His continuous guidance on Nadera Kạurotu by His Holy Spirit so that the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour is proclaimed, declared, praised, worshipped and adored. Hallellujah!
Current Catechist – Joji Suliano. There are 21 families with total count of 90 members. This graph shows the Kạurotu’s major activities.
