Men’s Fellowship Rally at Churchward Chapel: A Day of Discipleship and Unity

Saturday 22 Feb, 2025 – Churchward Chapel Men’s Fellowship, in collaboration with the Soloag Asa Circuit, hosted a remarkable Men’s Fellowship Rally today. The event, centered around the theme of discipleship, drew a diverse group of men faith eager to strengthen their faith and bond with one another.

The rally began with a warm welcome from Reverend Fonmanu Varea , who highlighted the importance of discipleship in the Christian journey. His opening remarks set the stage for a day filled with inspiring composed music, networking, and fellowship.

Alex Paul, Chairman (fa puer) of Rot Fa, expressed his immense satisfaction with the turnout and the generous offering of $6,350. “Today’s rally has not only strengthened our faith but also demonstrated the power of unity and community,” he said.

The Rotuma Divisional Superintendent honored the gathering with his presence, adding further significance to the event. His words of encouragement and support resonated with everyone, reinforcing the rally’s theme of discipleship.

Throughout the day, kaurotu’s (cell groups)  engaged in singing  focused on the principles of discipleship. Esteemed Reverends, including Reverend Mario Rigamoto from the Soloag Asa Circuit, offered valuable insights on how to lead by example and nurture faith within families and communities at one of his speeches.

The Churchward and Soloag Asa Men uplifting musical performances further enriched the event. Their harmonious voices filled the hall with praise, creating an atmosphere of reverence and joy.

As the rally concluded, Reverend Fonmanu Varea expressed his gratitude to the Soloag Asa Circuit for their collaboration and to all Men for their participation. He encouraged everyone to carry the day’s lessons and inspiration into their daily lives, fostering a stronger sense of community and faith.

Alex Paul extended his appreciation to the women for the support and the help provided displaying strength, resilience and commitment as a pillar of strength for every men.

The Men’s Fellowship Rally at Churchward Chapel was a resounding success, leaving with renewed spirits and a deeper commitment to discipleship.
